2019 Paper Submission Process
Please follow the following steps to submit your regular, short, or workshop paper to Bridges.
- Prepare your paper as a PDF file. Follow the Bridges formatting guidelines, and if possible use our LaTeX or Word templates. This is exactly how your paper will appear in the printed proceedings. Please try to limit the size of your PDF.
- Paper submission and review is handled using EasyChair. The EasyChair site for Bridges 2019 is https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=bridges2019. If you already have an account on EasyChair, you can log in and select this conference. If not, look for the "I have no EasyChair account" button and create a new account.
- After you have created an EasyChair account, log in and click on New Submission. Be sure to select the appropriate track (regular, short, or workshop papers). Do not select "invited papers" unless you have specifically been instructed to do so by a conference organizer.
- Follow the instructions exactly to enter the information about your paper:
- Enter the Author information.
- In the box for Title, paste a copy of your paper's title.
- In the box for Abstract, paste a copy of your abstract.
- Choose the most appropriate category from the list available or check none of the above.
- Select one or more Bridges keywords from the list provided. If you want to add more specific or more freeform keywords, you can also include those in the textbox further up the page.
- To upload your PDF file, click Browse (to the right of File) and select the file name from the directory on your computer where you store it.
- If you feel the reviewers should see an auxiliary data file of some sort, e.g., a data or music file which goes along with your paper, you can compress it into a .zip file and enter it as the attachment. Most papers do not need any attachment, and you are always permitted to leave this field blank. Do not upload a second copy of your paper as an auxiliary file.
- Click Submit Paper and wait for your file to be uploaded.
- After your paper is submitted, you can still go back to EasyChair and Resubmit it to change the information or upload an improved version. You can (and should) submit your work in progress as many times as you like before the deadline, as a failsafe.
If you have difficulties with electronic submission, please contact the conference chair.
