2018 Call for Family Day Activities

At Family Day, the Bridges Conference opens its doors to the general public and showcases the rich world of art and mathematics through a range of events and activities. Some Bridges-related events, like the Poetry Reading and Short Film Festival, are scheduled to coincide with Family Day and open to all. We also feature numerous hands-on activities that explore math through constructions, crafts, drawing, movement, and much more.
We are accepting proposals for Family Day activities. If you would like to prepare community activities, games, workshops, interactive demonstrations, or presentations related to math-art connections and interesting for a wide audience—including children and adults—then acquaint yourself with the objectives and philosophy of the Bridges Conference and submit your proposal!
