2018 Evening at the Swedish Museum of Performing Arts
Thursday, July 26
6:00pm – 8:00pm
Museum Director, Daniel Wetterskog, invites Bridges to enjoy an evening at the Swedish Museum of Performing Arts (Scenkonstmuseet), a premier experience center devoted to the arts of dance, music and theatre, and one of Europe's leading museums for performance. At Scenkonstmuseet the synthesis of art forms is as important as the mix of people and social diversity is reflected and encouraged. The museum is unique in its fusion of history and modernity, and in offering the opportunity for the audience’s own participation and creativity.
The museum will be open only for Bridges participants and museum staff will guide us through the three floors in groups. We will view the summer exhibition, "Bergman – Truth and Lies," and take a glimpse behind the scenes of one of the world's most accomplished directors, Ingemar Bergman. We will also be able explore the museum's many interactive installations. Make sure you try the fascinating "singing walls" in the staircase.
The museum restaurant will be open for the purchase of light meals and beer and wine. The museum is located very close to the center of Stockholm and there are many restaurants nearby.
