Keynote Speakers
Corey Cerovsek
- A violinist, pianist, and mathematician who received the Gold Medal from the Royal Conservatory of Music at age 12.
- The recipient of the Virginia-Parker Prize from the Canada Council for the Arts (1992). Nominated (with Andrew Russo) for a Grammy in the category of Best Chamber Music Performance (2006).
- The recipient of the MIDEM Classical Music Award for the Best Chamber Music for his recording with Paavali Jumppanen of the complete violin sonatas by Beethoven.
- Was awarded a bachelor's degree in music and mathematics in 1987 (age 15), a master's degree in music in 1988, a master's degree in mathematics in 1990, and completed his doctoral coursework in music and mathematics in 1991 (age 18).

Performers
Paavali Jumppanen
- Finnish pianist who presented solo recitals at New York's Carnegie Hall and Washington's Kennedy Center, and has toured Australia with the Melbourne Symphony to critical acclaim. He has made his New York concerto debut in 2002 with the New York Chamber Symphony.
- Has appeared at numerous festivals including the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival in Finland, the La Roque d'Anthéron Festival in France, the Chanel Nexus festival in Japan, and the Messiaen Festival in France.
- The recipient of the first prize in Finland's national Maj Lind Competition in Helsinki at age nineteen. He has served as Artistic Director of Finland's Lemi-Lappeenranta Music Festival since 2004.
- The resident musician at the Music Department of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts (2011-2012) who performed the complete cycle of Mozart Piano Sonatas at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston.
- His recording with violinist Corey Cerovsek of the complete Beethoven Sonatas for Piano & Violin received the MIDEM Prize of Cannes for the best chamber music disc of 2008.
