Minhyong Kim

Minhyong Kim

  • Minhyong Kim is Professor of Number Theory at the University of Oxford, a fellow of Merton College, and a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Seoul National University.
  • He co-created the Seoul-based 'talk concert' series Knowledge Awake On Stage (KAOS), with the goal of bringing the general public into contact with ideas at the interface of cutting-edge mathematics, science, technology, and the arts. He has also authored a book 'Prime Fantasy' aimed at a general readership.
  • He has wondered about the mysterious duality between Number and Space in all their manifestations for a good part of his life.
