The City
Seoul, "Capital City", from ancient Sillan "Seorabeol", officially the Seoul Metropolitan City, is the capital and largest metropolis of South Korea. A megacity with a population of more than 10 million, it is the second largest city proper in “The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development” developed world. The Seoul Capital Area, which includes the surrounding Incheon metropolis and Gyeonggi province, is the world's second largest metropolitan area with over 25.6 million people, home to over half of South Koreans along with 632,000 international residents. The Location
Gwacheon National Science Museum (국립과천과학관), the largest science museum in Asia and perhaps around the world, is located at Seoul Grand Park subway station, (Subway Line 4), south of the Han River. Exit #5 will take you right to the science museum.
