"I like to make photos of objects and of nature outside, in which mathematical shape is the most important aspect of the beauty. In general people experience mathematics as difficult and inaccessible, so I try to show mathematics is an omnipresent phenomenon which contributes to the beauty of the world. Other photographical work I made is of nature, close-up and with backlight."

All circles and ellipses look if they are made with compasses. In reality: sharp focused pipes, seen through bleary focused pipes.

The same as photo 1, but now the bleary pipes are only shapes, making a net of lines and not existing overlap.

Pipes, shown in front, give a nice pattern of circles. The beauty of simplicity.
