"Fractal Fish - Grouped Groupers"
is a digital artwork completed in 2001 and printed on photographic paper.
It is based on a fractal tiling of irregular hexagons discovered by the
artist. The wavelike boundary of the tiling results from iteration
of a simple set of matching rules for arrangement of the individual tiles.
