" These two acrylic sculpture puzzles are from a series exploring symmetry.
Each is composed of identical laser-cut parts which snap together into a symmetric
arrangement. The underlying mathematical idea is that a flat shape can lie in
the stellation planes of a polyhedron and meet copies of itself at various symmetry
axes in such a way that clockwise and counterclockwise torques balance, leaving
the result structurally stable without any glue or connectors. "
